SPEAK
There are alot of things we all want to say..but some are better left in our heads. And somehow it catches up on you, and you just gotta let it out..one way or another.
People judge. That's a fact. They believe half-baked stories and fry it up even more. But they miss to flip. We fail to realize that there IS another side, one that we never had a chance to recognize because we are so engrossed in the juicyness of being able to cradle flies behind our mouths and point fingers at those whose lives we've been waiting to crumble.
I remember a friend's mom once saying.."it's like tearing up a sheet of paper and throwing it in the air, catching a little piece, and making a whole story out of it." These are things we fail to realize up until we are the victim. It's easy to say "let it go, let it go"...but there are others like me who have to let it out before letting it go. I remember a line from the movie My Bestfriend's Wedding: "This too shall pass." But as of now,it hasn't.
I dislike people who are so caught up in themselves that they fail to glimpse at the scars etched on their skins. Stop acting like you're porcelain. Stop speaking like every word you have uttered must be placed at the top of Mt. Everest. Stop grilling others because you're burnt.
At the end of the day,I still choose to zipper lips. Because as my better half would say "Sometimes by not fighting the battle, you've already won..It's a good thing to defend yourself, but choose which ones are worth it."
